Slightly boozy start, mild hop bitterness, maybe a little vanilla. Some alcohol burn at the finish. Feels thick, goes down smooth. Definitely unique and worth trying.

Reminded me of an ages Stone Old Guardian I had. Pineapple cake? Sweet with a woody finish.

Hazy amber in color with a thin quickly dissipating head and woodsy aromas. Interesting beer with a syrupy mouthfeel boozy front and a slight spicy & vanilla wood finish. I would drink this again but it is a special occasion type heavy beer

Interesting beer; sweet, sugary, does not have a huge malt presence. Lots of alcohol up front. The birch syrup and wood lend it an almost spicy finish. I would drink this again...

Sweet, woody, boozy, with a grainy finish. Enjoyed it at Beachwood BBQ.

Definitely packs a bunch. Mouth feel is syrupy (probably due to the birch syrup). A bit of an alcohol burn. Taste is mostly woody and sweet. A bit unusual. Certainly worth a try. I'd have it again.

Weird. But...DELICIOUS. Wood flavor is most prominent. Syrupy as well, but from syrup, not malts. If you have something to celebrate, like love, then this is a good beer to go with. Plus pineapple. Cheers.
