Not bad for a barley wine ale. A bit sweet but drinkable.

Maintains the taste of bourbon without the alcohol taste. Warming. (Barleys)

What just happened? I just drank a barley wine that I actually enjoyed. Smooth, dark fruits, vanilla and bourbon. Excellent!

Wow! Dessert beer. Great complex bourbon county made even better. Lots of caramel on the nose and palette. Slight black cherries and dried berries with powerful and delicious booziness. Highly recommend.

Wow this beer is delicious. Vanilla bourbon taste, sweet, not too boozy. Ultra smooth and silky. Great barley wine. Bottle, May 2014.

Sweet. Chocolate, vanilla, tootsie roll like finish with some dark fruit. Not super boozy like a Å¡ucaba had this off a growler fill. Delicious and worth sharing for sure!

29MAR14, Sergio's World Beers, Louisville, KY Pours a super brown with coffee brown head. Super malty aroma, super dark fruit aroma, smells fruity and malty and delicious. Flavor is initially sweet and had a masses flavor. It's sweet and wet and lingering. Mouthfeel is creamy and oily. Super malty and a little sharper like a grand cru. Delicious. Repeatable. And would definitely order again, multiple times.

Excellent from nose through aftertaste -malty, sweet dried fruit (figs), bourbon flavor evident but not pronounced, smooth, balanced, alcohol masked by malts

One of the best barley wines that I have ever had. 2nd only to FW Sucaba. Wonderful bourbon and vanilla notes. This is a great sipper
