davl22 - September 13, 2014Pours muddy amber, thin khaki head dissipates quickly, aroma of sticky toffee, raisins, plums, bourbon, wood, baking spices, slick mouthfeel, smooth and viscous, no alc heat whatsoever (which boggles my mind considering the 2+ years it spent in the barrel) sweet dried fruit, vanilla, coconut, toffee, light spice, basically liquid raisins. Really great after dinner sipper, similar to Bourbon County barleywine but smoother, a little too sweet to have more than a glass though
