prhubbard - December 8, 2014It has this strange bitter aftertaste that seems to creep across the palate like chewing on a rubber band. Too aggressive for a stout and a bad aftertaste? Couldn't finish it. Not a fan.
sanatapal - June 1, 2012Unique to Ontario, Tempest Imperial Stout is brewed with a complex grain bill and three types of hops. Cellared for three months prior to packaging, Tempest has a bitterness that quickly blends with deep malt notes and a slight spiciness. Wax tipped and 10% ABV, this beer will cellar well for up to three years.

In more detail, has excellent cocoa nose and nice coffee chocolate flavor, but brown head is thin with terrible retention and no lace alongside a thin body. Has some great elements, but not solely.
