dkrenik - July 19, 2016Modest, foamy head. Hazy Amber color. Aromas of black skinned fruit with loads of caramel and malt. Very malty flavor with a high degree of malty sweetness followed by a touch of plum/prune.
Not bad. Could use some hops IMO given only 20 IBU's.
jxl377 - October 31, 20152015 vintage. It's actually 13.4% alc by volume but can't taste it at all is smooth and easily drank. Smells of some bourbon and taste a little bourbon but lots of complex flavor. Very nice barley wine.
agerome - March 6, 20133/5/13 not what I expected. Color dark like a stout, taste leaned in that direction I didn't get the barley style, bourbon was very minimal. Overall nice beer.
