Pours a dark black with minimal head. Smells dark and malty with a hint of hop aroma. Not a lot of hoppiness though. Taste is quite malty and sweet with a bitter aftertaste. 3.5/5, would drink again.

Nice black color with a nice brown head. Citrusy backed with a few pine notes on the nose. Citrus flavors explode on the tongue. Pine appears in the middle and it finishes with a mild chocolate and more citrus. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste but very good. I will say the first imperial black ipa I have had. Wish it could stay around but apparently a one off. Served on draft.
