Just like auld acquaintance

Really liked the light taste of gingerbread. Would definitely have again.

This Porter starts with a sweet gingerbread aroma. The dark malt flavors intermingle with ginger and spices to make this an enjoyable holiday brew.

Almost tastes like sweet barbecue sauce

Not as bad I a would otherwise expect given the gingerbread part. Not too sweet and the gingerbread did not overpower it

Thick and chewy, almost sticky mouthfeel. Strong dark malt. Roasted, almost burnt flavor. Finishes with bitter hop taste. Gingerbread flavor not noticeable. Very, very slight cinnamon and nutmeg aftertaste. Not a bad beer if you aren't expecting gingerbread and want a heavy, dark porter that's not sweet.

2013 label is different than the one pictured. Well balanced flavor but a little weak for my taste. Hints of spice, cinnamon, malt, and nutmeg. Enjoyable but thin.

Despite the frightening name it's actually a pretty good gingered ale. Not overly sweet, and not overwhelmingly gingery.

Kinda dark :)

I bit disappointing. Didn't get and gingerbread and was really watery. No body to this one.
