Strong coffee and honey aroma. Pours a thick mocha black. Carel brown head with lacing forever. Smooth, sweet, bitter, strong black coffee. Absolutely sublime.

A little too much alcohol which creates more bite than I prefer but still pretty damn good. Try Hoppin' Frog stouts if you like this.

This beer is not bad, but not exactly good on its own. Smells of soy sauce and molasses. Molasses, licorice, and coffee ground forward, hints of tart cherry and plum, slowly gives way to an earthy coffee ground taste with an acidic sour bite. Could go well with a piquant cheese and charred meat.

The 25 oz bottle is a challenge to finish by oneself.
