For as dark a beer as it is, it's very smooth and easy to drink. I don't understand where some of these people are saying harsh or bitter because that's not the case at all. Not overly heavy or overly dark of a flavor. A nice roasty malty flavor

Not super flavorful, but crisp, malty, just a tiny touch of hoppiness.

Smooth and a little hoppy with a medium body. Goes down easy.

I love Brooklyn brewery, and this brown ale is a winner. Stout like, but lighter. Molasses smell and taste. Good easy drinking beer
