Heavy, malty, Trappist ale. Good for sipping.

Loved this beer. Dark but smooth. Pricey though

Not bad. Couldn't drink more than one at a time. It was a little bitter, but not too bitter.

Medium carbonation, light mouthfeel. Notes of raisins and plum but not too sweet. Aspects of toffee. Strong taste. Must try. There is some mild to moderate bitterness, which is nice and not overwhelming. The beer is malt forward. Unbelievably delicious. Incredibly smooth.

Light, crisp and more malty than I'd prefer from a clean Belgian. Mouthy and thinner than the other Chimay varieties. Letting it warm a bit now. After warming this smoothed out a bit. Slightly carbonated but more even. Good beer.
