Motor oil with a bitter bite. Very low nose, creamy mouthfeel. Beautiful brown head. Not the best imperial stout I've had, but certainly not the worst.

Creamy tan head on an opaque black brew. Nose seems tight and not showing much. Loads of roasted malt and coffee on the palate. Appropriate carbonation and full bodied, not bad.

Low carb, smooth. Mid-big body. Interesting flavor, some roasted, burnt malt. Anise & chocolate? Spices? Flavor balances ABV well. Flavor lasts... and this is review after drinking warm! 3.85
