TheHopHead - April 9, 2013Decent head, great citrus aroma, mostly like oranges. A bit of grapefruit and lemon rind flavor, medium body, not much bitterness. The hops are pretty much devoid of pepper, earthy, or spicy flavors, it's really just citrusy. The malt backbone is pretty clean and unremarkable, a very faint residual sweetness. The finish is very pleasant, not too bitter. Also, it's currently 7% instead of 6.
Mr. Marcus - January 13, 2013Mandarin/tangerine and cumquat on the nose. Bitter orange, grapefruit with the even hops. A little burnt caramel on the finish. Nice complexity for a single hopped EPA.
