heavy coffee taste. Smells like a coffee filter. Slight chocolate taste.

Incredible balance of beer and coffee. It's never too early to get Surly

It's over-whelmingly coffee, and slightly bitter

Nicest coffee stout yet!

Strong coffee expresso flavor. Feel more like I'm drinking an ice coffee instead of beer.

If you're looking for a brown ale or stout with some coffee flavor added, you might not like this. If you want a beer that tastes strictly like delicious, slow-roasted coffee, look no further. This is my favorite coffee beer because it's like drinking an actual cup of bitter morning joe. But it's definitely a divisive beer.

Would have liked a bigger coffee flavor

Ruby amber body w/ creamy khaki head & good lacing. Espresso & roasted malt aromas. Intense coffee flavors w/ hint of nutty character. Nice.

Kinda bitter, but you get used to it after awhile.
