Lots or caramel and roasted malts. Needs a bit more balance to be a top beer of this style.

Interesting take on an American IPA. Dark amber in colour. Caramel and roasted notes to start. Finishes with smooth almost creamy hoppiness. Lasting bitterness. Very pleasing. Lacks hoppiness on the nose.

A touch cloudy and deep amber in color. Aromas are of citrusy hops but semi sweet for a US IPA. Taste is more of oranges/lines up front with a more lemony/grapefruit finish that is extreme and NEARLY astringent, but flavored enough to combat the hop-hater in me. Nice enough, if extreme. Fairly tingly on the tongue, but not excessively so. Medium body.
