spark540 - January 16, 2015Hazy golden-orange pour with a small amount of effervescent head. High carbonation with medium body. Substantial berry aroma but it smells more like strawberry than cranberry. Very refreshing and fizzy with a crisp and clean finish. Fruity sweet and tart flavor. Subtle ginger notes but not overbearing. This is perfect for a hot day at the pool. Shandys and Weiss beer in general aren't for me but it's a nice change of pace between the IPAs and heavy darks. This goes down super easy because it tastes like zippy juice and almost reminds me of a wine cooler. Would pair well with lighter foods such as salads and fruit desserts. This is a bland wheat beer dressed up with berries. Only women should be drinking this.
jkhaskins - January 10, 2015Not at all!!! Started out great with the cranberry flavor. Loved it! Then...bam😜 the ginger killed it!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜µ I only drank a 1/2 and Drano the rest.
