Meh. Not great. Dark dried fruity. Moderate aftertaste.

Not listed as such but as close to a Belgian Quad as you can get, really big carb, honey, raisins, dark fruit, plums, prunes, holiday spices, slight alcohol warmth, but super drinkable for the abv, very nice Belgian strong dark ale. Out of the bunch I tried, I?d buy this one again in a heartbeat.

For a 9.5 ABV this beer is smooth on the palate.

Fruity, slight sour, heavily carbonated beer. Slight aftertaste.

Candied dark fruit, caramel, hints of vanilla & spice. Some detect a slight sour funk. Delicious & not too boozy. Had at PP 9/15/13.
