Big Alsie - April 26, 2013Nice balance. A bit too boozy of a finish for me. Sculpin is definitely a superior brew to this one.

j-definite - January 6, 2013Big beer, good malt and biting hop balance. Wasn't getting the fruity citrus taste others mentioned but still great. A pretty brute DIPA

tangentdivison - January 6, 2013Fantastic! Delicious citrus flavors hit you in the face on the first sip and piney hop flavors on the finish. Has a pleasant warming boozy taste, but not too much. Does not taste like 10%

Mr. Marcus - January 5, 2013Apricot and burnt orange on the nose. Sweet orange blossom. Sweet palate with pineapple and orange peel. Almost fresh squeezed orange juice. Even hops with a nice finish. Good semi sweet DIPA.

Todd T - December 4, 2012Good but not great. Not in the same class as Sculpin. Was expecting more since it has been a bit difficult to acquire. You get both citrus and a malt backbone.

BJG333 - November 13, 2012Expected more. Definitely not on same class as Sculpin. Decent DIPA, but nothing I'd rush back to.

lazybean - November 11, 2012Great citrus hop flavor but not too bitter. Dry but not bitter finish. A true San Diego style DIPA
