Aroma Crisp fresh smell with a slight bitter scent Flavor Not a strong flavor of Belgian yeast, very mild taste. Just crisp and refreshing

Phenomenal Belgian ale with incredible flavor and hop activity. Delicious and crisp with golden coloration and a frothy head that lasted until the end of the glass. One of my all-time favorites.

In my humble opinion this is the quintessential Belgian Strong Golden Ale (or pale as it is listed here). Great ester aromas of banana and tropical fruit yet subtle and not cloying. Definitely best enjoyed from a glass and with great company as I find its high alcohol content drives some wild animated conversations.

Light, sweet, crisp, a hint of apple.

This ale sets the bar (no pun) for all others in my opinion. It's clean, smooth, drinkability, a fantastic and lasting beautifully laced head when enjoyed in a Duvel tulip glass is most satisfying. We pay $10 per beer after a long flight to Dubai and there are plenty of takers at that price.
