Katrina - April 10, 2012Heavy body and full flavor! I drank this along side a slice of cheesecake. It was a deliciously rich and indulgent dessert!
opusb - April 9, 2012Amazingly dark yet smooth beer. Espresso is quite smooth and a slight vanilla character from the oak pokes through. While the mouthfeel is heavy it is still quite drinkable and silky. Not too sweet either. Chocolate undertones break bitterness.
detrix7 - February 8, 2012Dark as night; no light showing through the glass mug at all. Strong malt start with chocolate, coffee and near whiskey style notes. Thick, smooth consistency with a moderately bitter finish (at least for a stout). My new favorite beer.
jdouglas - February 8, 2012Darkest beer I've ever seen. Espresso scent is delicious. Complex flavor of coffee and whiskey (because of the oak barrel). Thick consistency. All around great beer
