Much smoother than IBU value would suggest. Definitely a mellowing effect from the honey but I don?t think I could identify it as such. Very nice Imperial IPA

Very little head Comes on very hoppy at first, followed by sweet honey/citrus flavor. Almost burns after sweet flavor from bitterness, but then nice hop flavor stays in mouth. Nice for a single glass.

Doesn't taste like 110 IBU, I feel like honey smooth's it out. I gave it a 4, Brother gave it a 3

Taphouse Nov 2014. Big DIPA. Bit buttery and thick. Super bitter and piney. Nice but definitely know it is a big beer.

Citrus and honey, a marriage made in IPA heaven.

Good. Smooth. Slightly strange smell.

110 IBUs and I believe it. Not enough hoppiness for me

Nicely bitter. Not too much on the hops

This was exceptionally cold - sat out in the garage during one of the February cold snaps. So that may impact my experience. Minimal nose with little to no head. Huge hop bitterness, especially at the finish where grapefruit ruled. The sweetness of honey was active in the background. Hazy golden orange color. Grapefruit bitterness grows exponentially as the beer warms. Not a beer for everyone - which is good because that means more for me!

So intensely bitter it almost burns... But saved by a pretty substantial body and maltiness, with an awesome sweetness and silky mouthfeel from a liberal honey addition. Not my cup of tea, but excellent for what it is.
