Sweet and malty, like a light Barleywine.

Copper colored with a small slightly off white head. Mild sweet malt aroma. A little wet newspaper smell coming off of it. Mild sweet flavor. The malt dominates. Mild floral aftertaste. Mild fruitiness in the center. Alcohol is hidden very well. Actual name is Old Curmudgeon. Draft.

Pretty sweet for the style, lots of malt and a bit of a boozy finish, but nothing overpowering. Very good version of this style.

Note: im working on developing my palate Smell of malt and alcohol. Very low head with good lacing. Dark copper color. Tastes very strongly of alcohol and malts and maple syrup.

I just don't get the style. Tastes like I left a Schlitz out in the sun for a fee days and then drank it. I guess a good example of the style, but I just can't appreciate it. Made me sick for the rest of the day.

A malt bomb! Very smooth, malty, raisin and toffee flavor's. Great example of an old ale

Smells a little like grape juice. Tastes a little like wine too.
