Creamy head with light honey aroma. Amber color. Not much bite, kind of flavorless finish.

Decent Oktoberfest beer. Nothing special.

Meh. Not a bad beer. Not a good beer. Head: big, foamy with larger than average bubbles; took up half the glass. Color: Amber brown. Nose: reminds me of sweat and urea. Flavor: malty with a very slight bitterness, earthy and robust flavored without being a heavy beer overall. Spices like traditional medicine.

What a German marzen is all about. Nice balance without the overly sweet spices too often found in fall time beer.
