Big and flavorful for an IPA. Cherry and anise on the nose with delicate amaretto and sweet red grapefruit. On the palate, sesame candy and bitter carrot/turnip dipped in caramel with a black walnut finish. Medium sweet delicious IPA to be paired with a sweet curry dish or mild desert like fresh sour cherry pie! Mmm.

For me this is in between a Stone Ruination and a Lagunitas, with the Ruination being the superior. Slight sweetness, hints of pine, big hops. Great beer, would drink any day, any time.
