arusso13 - March 10, 2013Full-bodied. Strong smokey, oak flavor with a hint of sweetness (presumably from maple flavor; hard to detect the vanilla). Great with a Cadbury egg!

mrd775 - February 17, 2013I love the smokiness. There is quite a lot going on here. It works well for me. This is a big, viscous beer with a sweet flavor so drinking more than a couple in a sitting seems unlikely. Definitely worth trying and I would gladly get this again.
12.21.13 - upping my star rating. Started as a 3.5 and this beer is much better than that. This is one of the better brews I've had. Not quite a 5 but pretty darn close.

tangentdivison - February 10, 2013Really strong oak and maple flavors, not nearly enough vanilla to balance it out. I'm not a fan, it was just too much.

Dr_Outback - February 9, 2013This is nearly undrinkable. The maple flavor overwhelms and combined with the 11%abv, it's like drinking a oaky tasting alcoholic imitation maple syrup.

awwillie@hotmail.com - January 22, 2013A lot of Flavors. A little too sweet but much better with food

jackofheartsnp@excite.com - January 21, 2013Very malty, almost like a higher gravity marzen style beer. Biscuits on the nose.
