Really thick, a little hop up front, a bit malty and thick in the middle, and a syrupy coating to finish. Really wasn't boozy for the ABV

This is a good barley wine ale. Mellow and well balanced. The alcohol is well hidden

Quite enjoyable. Syrupy, but not surprising at 11%. Very sweet, slightly hoppy.

Nice hop bite at the front, silky caramel in the middle, and finishes with the alcohol. Very good beer.
