A very tasty beverage that I enjoyed at my daughter Carrie's apartment on 6 SEP 2015.

Semi aggressive pour resulted in solid half inch head. Dark golden, slightly auburn color. No fruity smell, but hops and malts, almost like a Ballentines. Nice hoppy taste, paired with strong malts. Very well balanced. I like it somewhat more hoppy, but this is an excellent beer. Think Ballentines IPA with slightlyyyy less ABV!

I just had a Coney Island overpass IPA. It was so much better than this one. Sorry to say. But as I was logging in my tasting notes, it started tasting a lot better as it warmed up outta the frig. I hated it at first sip but what I think I found out is that to get the best taste outta the English IPA is to let it cool up, in other words, don't drink it so cold, and it'll taste awesome. This beer tasted more and more outstanding, as I started to finish It I didn't want it to end it was so good. As for American IPA's, which I think are so much better, taste better colder. So with that said, and 'caus I like my beers real cold, I give it only 4-1/2 stars. Thanx Yards for teaching me 'bout beer temps again, I forgot. Respect from a Giants fan.(Popped a top)

We love IPA's and this is decent one but just doesn't have that WOW factor..... But drinkable for sure.
