Pours dark as night with generous light tan head. Rich malty aroma. Malty flavor that quickly gives way to a pungent hoppy bitterness.

3/16/17 - 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a dark mahogany color with a slightly tan creamy head. Aroma is toffee and slight roasted malt. The color is deceiving because it has a surprisingly light body. Taste is toffee, maybe even a slight chocolate in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a very refreshing beer. Not overly malty like a porter.
