Outstanding example of style. This one a touch flat and old but still great.

An exceptional German black lager, that's refreshingly satisfying on a hot day like today. Unlike your reg lager brew out there.. This beer is darker with a full solid taste. Toasty coffee notes and plenty of hoppy textures in the palate. Cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 9/8/13

The quintessential black lager! Best when on tap. Perfectly balanced. Pours a dark black color with deep ruby highlights. & tan head. Very light roast and bitterness on the palate. A light mouthfeel and clean finish. One of my favorites with a plate of Saurbraten or Schnitzel. 45/50.

Has the appearance of black coffee and a slightly beige tan head and aromas of barley malt. Surprisingly light and easily drinkable. Has a dry iced coffee taste with a subtle dark chocolate finish. Solid dark beer that's sessionable
