Amber and crisp. Not a strong hoppy taste. Can almost taste the alcohol. Slightly sweet.

Cloudy amber color due to yeast. A pleasant yet slightly sour aroma with hints of cherry, pear and apricot with a bit of yeasty rye bread scents. Ever so slightly off-white head with poor retention though a nice creamy lace while it lasts. Flavor is a more subtle, balanced and drying semblance of the aromas, coupled with a slight hoppy citrus taste. Still warming, but light-body masks the extent of its 10% ABV. A nice beer all in all.

Carmel color, slightly cloudy. Decent head that will climb the glass. Nose is grapey with slight vanilla note. Taste is carmel & plummy with grape notes working their way in. Smooth mouthfeel, hard to believe it's 10% abv. Better than a 4, but not quite a 5. Very good beer.
