Really nice bourbon flavor. I like it a wee bit less than the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel because this had a stonger alcohol flavor coming through, but it was still an excellent example of bourbon beer. profile - September 6, 2016
Too much alcohol for my taste. Full of flavor, too much whiskey flavor for my taste. Couldn't finish a bottle. profile - September 2, 2016
I have been avoiding this beer because of the price and name, but what a wonderful stout. Very smooth, leaves a great after taste and one of the best craft beers I have tasted in Michigan! By the way a great name especially after having one, it hits like dragon's fire! Gets better as you drink it!

Nice bourbon flavor that isn't overpowering.

Was not too impressed with my first taste but the more I drink the better I like it. Would get it again. Not my favorite style of beer. profile - August 21, 2016
