A prickly pear cactus and grapefruit infused Gose it is very interesting refreshing and easy drinking. Clear golden in color with a quickly dissipating foamy white head, has a subtle acidic citrus aroma (or as nancy says armadillo and spikes). Very light in body has a crisp refreshing mouthfeel and flavor. The prickly pear fruitiness is balanced by grapefruit acidity and the saltiness of the Gose style. Crisp clean finish with an underlying flavor I think is from the prickly pear. With a fruity tangy flavor combo and tart finish, a Gose I genuinely liked and would have again.
