Don't quite remember the pale ale 1.0 but this is the 2.0. Overall decent but forgettable compared to Stone's vast assortment of beers. Clear copper in color with a quickly dissipating white head and dank earthy aromas. Almost moldy. Body is light and taste fairly one note earthy hops with a watery consistency. I don't really remember the first version but I wouldn't get the 2.0 again either. Stone makes better beers than this one.

Pretty good beer. Nice refreshing start with a medium to high bitter finish. You can definitely taste the hops. Give it a try if you like a good ale or an IPA.
