jaywill1323 - October 28, 2015Hazy orange in color with a slight foamy white head. Has the trademark Belgian tripel aroma. Very clovey. I want to like this one but don't. Light in body it has a very drying bitter taste no real pumpkin comes through. It's a Belgian tripel but not the best of them. Flavors are very dry champagney and almost has a licorice smokey character at the end. A pumpkin in name only. Hey they can't all be winners. Aftertaste is like burnt licorice. Gourdfather was the best of the 3 rare beers I had tonight.
Had on draft at corkcity 10/28/15. Only keg in NJ!
