Great balance of hop bitterness and malt flavor. Could drink a bunch of these. Trader joe's represents maibock's well with this beer. Note the newer version is called "spring Prost" and has a cooler German style label. Cool branding.

I don't know a lot about Maibocks but I found this to be full-flavored, malty and fairly enjoyable at first but will not be lounge forward to more next May.

Nice malty and spicy throughout. The German influence comes through for a very sessionable beer. Where's my pretzel?!
