Refreshing yet hearty! A super popular beer in Dallas. Revolver is making some great brews (Sidewinder is great). Try it with a slice of blood orange.

Excellent. Color is nice and hazy, hint of honey makes it sweet but not overpowering. The blood orange flavor is unique. Easy wheat ale to drink and enjoy. Overall nice!

Alright...let's start with the good. This beer has an unfiltered wheat base, and it has a creamy texture that I would expect more from a cream ale. The taste of honey was very noticeable as well. Now for the part I didn't like. The blood orange peel used in the fermentation process gave it a bitterness that was a bit off-putting. It's not a hoppy bitterness...it's an odd, cloying one that hangs at the back of the throat. Not what I expected, but overall a pretty good beer. Edit: I tried this beer again, this time on draft, at the beginning of May, 2014. It was MUCH better on draft. No bitterness from the orange peel, and much more of the taste I expected. I would give this beer barely 3 stars from the bottle, but a very solid 4 from the tap.
