4.5* Nice nose of roasted coffee. Very smooth, with some coffee and dark chocolate notes, some sweetness, and finished off with some toasted malt. Not as heavy as other "big" stouts, but that makes it rather drinkable.

Smell is huge, cocoa and coffee. Chocolate and toasted barley and malts. Thick, black. Good taste, but doesn't live up to the big beautiful smell. Tasty, but a bit light. Would be good as an imperial stout

Too sweet for my taste. Would be good as a dessert beer, but that's all.

A dark mahogany in color with a thick dark tan head and roasted notes with a slight bread aroma. Full body but smooth. Almost silky. Very dark and rich. Opens up nicely. Rolls on the tongue slightly sweet from the lactose with roasted flavors and subtle milk chocolate. Very enjoyable and drinkable
