Bean sprouts, pear, and apple on the nose. Some nice sour rye dryness and light black licorice on the palette. Finishes pretty quickly with some delicious lingering carbonation.

It's more tart than the Mad River Brewing's Saison.

Bottle. Foamed like champagne with champagne smell as well. Good beer better warm

This saison is excellent! It has delicious flavor that is balanced with somewhat fruity and malty flavors. The beer has a touch of hop bitterness and a tad of sour flavor from the brettanomyces. There is also rye in this beer. Truly excellent and perfectly balanced. Slight heat from the alcohol and medium body with a deep golden hue. Very approachable and light enough for warm weather drinking.
