Malt, caramel notes. Good on its own. Great with Oktoberfest food!

31JUL12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Bottle Dopplebock. Very sharp dark fruits in the aroma, which largely carry over to the flavor, but some drop off. Has a light mouthfeel, almost creamy, and is mildly dry on the finish. It's not quite refreshing, but as it warms it mellows.
