Always tastes a little weak or watery. The malty caramel flavor is good just doesn't quite make it

Hints of caramel and coffee. Sweet as well. Not very good.

The use of peat-smoked malts used in scotch whiskies gives this brew a smokey flavor and lasting finish.

Looks fantastic! Tastes like a stale watered down scotch ale! Just another mediocre Sam Adams beer. Why do I keep buying from them?

malty and smoky up front with a smooth finish, but there's something almost watery about it....it's good but not great, and I'm left feeling like something is missing...3 stars

Nice malty, amber, scotch ale. Smooth finish with a smokey scotch flavor.

A little too sweet for my taste. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
