Very smooth, not too powerful so you can enjoy a few! Like this beer a lot.

Ok imperial. Color is a black with a milk chocolate bubbly foamy head. The aroma is a soft cocoa, with hints of coffee and a hops sweetness. Taste is a familiar chalky broth (like all sam smiths) with a good balance of a slightly sweet hops and a well roasted malt. 2 of 5 stars.

Classic Imperial Stout.

Great drinkable imperial stout! Not quite as thick as I'm used too with imperials but still good. No chocolate taste though.

Fantastic imperial stout. A great base line for what imperial stout is suppose to be.

Nose is obviously roasted, but with some very subtle vanilla bean. Smoke, oak and even beefiness hits the palate, with some coffee, but not chocolate. Still complex and goes down smooth. Definitely will age a few for winter
