prhubbard - November 20, 2014Solid product. Very nice and smooth if unexceptional in flavour. A preferred stout.
Catfishbunter - September 7, 2014Intense aroma on the pour, with notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut, and sweet earthy grains. It's rich, sweet, and earthy -- reminds me of Nutella. It is opaque black in color, with a thick chocolatey head. Once it settles, it has the appearance of French-pressed coffee. It goes down remarkably smooth. The beer has a richly sweet taste, with earthy tastes and the expected hint of oatmeal cookies. Notes of caramel, chocolate, and perhaps even coffee on the finish. Also has a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. Very little to criticize, this is one of my very favorite brews.
