Drinkable.. Not that good

Clear copper in color with a long lasting white foam head. Very sweet malty aromas and subtle earthy hop notes As a 9.25% double IPA, the body is very light. The flavor is very malty sweet at the beginning and then gets bitter & astringent. Not that great another whiff from shipyard. I wasn't overly impressed and have had much better double ipas

What you want in an IPA. Great beer. Best of the shipyard IPAs.

Disappointed...not a home run more of a ground rule double.

Enjoyed it, mild hops, not overwhelming or unbearable.. Exceeded my expectations especially with such a high abv.. Fairly smooth ipa

Kind of a weird IPA. Not much hop kick at all. Lots of malty flavor. Something distinct that I can't place but not necessarily good.

Pretty decent. Not the best, not the worst. Certainly has east coast IPA characteristics - just on steroids. I can't really pinpoint what I don't like about it other than it doesn't have a "wow" factor.

Okay for an Imperial/2X IPA, but heavy, somewhat unbalanced bitters/hops. Nicer after a few "regular" IPAs.
