It's what Newcastle Ale should be. Solid nut brown, good flavor throughout, bitter on the back end. Sierra Nevada makes good beers for being a larger brewer.

It was a pretty good beer, nothing I'd rave about but refreshing never the less. Nice flavor and relatively robust

Excellent Fall Warmer for those crisp Autumn nights. Nice smooth finish up front and more carbonated near the back.

Nose is a bit sour and reminds me of a Belgian ale I've had before, but I can't put my finger on it. This beer is a great value.
