bugs318 - July 26, 2012Dark brown to black with a small off-white head of poor retention and negligible creamy lace. Aromas are quite smoky with hints of tart cherry. Flavour is likewise smoky with just hints of cereal grains. Lighter bodied and more strongly and crisply carbonated than anticipated. A poor example of the style if enjoyable enough outside of those parameters.
bugs318 - July 25, 2012Excellent white frothy head of solid retention and slight lace atop a dark amber body. Aromas of citrus and pineapple, with similar dry citrus tastes that are complex and specifically indiscernible. Full bodied and strongly carbonated, with a nice smooth substance. Solid beer!
