Wow. Dark and smiley but not bitter or creamy. Good drinking beer surprisingingly dark and full bodied.

Like a porter Ale but with a lager brewing method. Cool experiment that works!

No head on pour. Dark color. Smokey, porter-type flavor. Good solid beer. Grew on me and finished better.

Good initial flavor but an underwhelming finish. It's heavy for a black lager, leaning into Porter territory, and the smoke and roasted malt is prevalent. But when offered this or a true Porter, their Porter wins. There's something in this that has never finished right.

Dark enough but relatively undistinguished

If you don't like a little smoke, beware! I love it!

Very good. Not what I was hoping for. Smoke was fairly subtle, I did catch the chocolate. More complex than smokey.

Roasted, somewhat smokey, slightly creamy but definitely not thick...very drinkable, good beer...5.9% abv, 25 IBUs

Smooth and flavorful. Enjoyable dark, heavier than a guinness and potent even though a low alcohol percentage.
