It was brewgene's beer of the day on 7/26/2012. I don't remember what it tastes like at all. I remember first having it with Robert Espiritu and him saying that the two old guys on the label were us in like 30 years.

Blonde, hoppy, little bitter, not too heavy. Like it

Aroma is a spicy hop scent with note of malt. Taste is fantastic; this is a superbly balanced IPA with malt notes occurring almost simultaneously with bitter hops. Hops are grapefruit and bitter citrus, while malt is graham cracker-like. Finish is a dry bitterness that lingers on the tongue. Keeps well too, just like the original IPAs. I had a few in the fridge while I lost power for a few days. By the time I took them out the inside of the fridge was hot; I was worried the beers were going to taste like cardboard. I gave 'em a shot and they still taste exceptional. The balance of the malt with the bitter citrusy hops creates a hint of sweetness, particularly a note of apricot, on the front of the palate before turning to notes of grapefruit and bitter citrus.

Very hoppy tasting. All around good IPA

Good mouthfeel, nice head, great carbonation. However, the flavor isn't very exciting, and the bitterness doesn't add much.
