bkblumenberg@yahoo.com - January 1, 2017Somewhat unsophisticated and raw. Not as smooth as many other stouts. Average but quite drinkable.
Cellar Dweller - October 6, 2015I really like this stout. Black, with a thin tan head that leaves plenty of lace. Gentle sweet smokey aroma. Tastes of smoke, like an open fireplace smoke, not a smoldering tire fire smoke. There is also hints of chocolate, caramel, rye toast, licorice and soy sauce. Feels slick but not viscous. Really nicely done. Great beer!
