12-21-13 parents house Christmas Good but not as good as I thought it would be. Definitely sour but I like it when sweet offsets it a little...and his one wasn't really at all.

Nice tan head. Great acidic nose, but some roasted notes underneath. Very sour, only slight roasted notes. Carbonation is a touch bold, but very delicious. A decent linger.

Too sour! Drinkable though. Can't taste stout too much cuz of the sour

Dark, coffee color with tan head that dissipates quickly. Roasted malt/coffee aromas buttressed with tartness. Palate is dominated by tartness - yum! Difficult to pick out much else. Medium bodied with ample carbonation. My bottle says 7%ABV.

4.5 / 5 (2013 release) I have been working through as many sour / aged beers as I can find looking for something to please this soul that was raised on sour grass / sour Warheads / Sour Patch Kids. I have tried nearly all of the Jolly Pumpkin array, some Petrus sours, and some gueuze / oude gueuze similarly priced. This is one of my favorites of about 20 sours! My immediate complaint is often -Not sour enough.- This one packs not only a high amount of sourness (I would kick it up a little more for personal preference but this is one of the most sour I have found) but it adds depth with rich flavors that make this beer a dash of win on a plate of victory.
