A very nice strong, dark pale ale with licorice and fruit notes; highly recommended!

Fruity, plums, prunes and raisins. Almost like a wine or port. Slightly carbonated. Very complex taste, but not my style.

Found a bottle of this in State College PA of all places, and by the end of it I was composing guitar songs to the thunderstorm outside and recording them on my phone. So it's good for rainy nights.

Dark brown in color with a quickly receding off-white to beige head that leaves a very smooth lace. Aromas of figs, plums, port, and alcohol. Sweet flavor as per aroma, but also including hints of cherries, plums, and yeasty spices. Full bodied, yet simultaneously creamy and warming in a lingering fairly drying finish a bit like a nice dry wine.

Strong ale - sweet and dark, big and powerful.

General post. This brewery has yet to disappoint! If any of there beers are on the menu it's an easy and confident selection.
