It's obviously a darker Beer

Definitely a Belgian style. Pretty fruity and bright. I don't taste a ton of the darker flavored in the description. That being said it's very good.

Smooth. Served too cold and the sweet raisin flavor is overpowering. Got warmer and malty chocolate flavor kicked in. Good but not my cup o tea.

Smooth. Hints of chocolate with a smoky finish. Goes great with barbecue!

Chocolate notes not too overpowering; satisfying and fairly potent brew

4/30/12: Yup. Nice and dark with that familiar Belgian sweetness. All sorts of fruity notes and the chocolate flavor that it claims to have. The whole thing gets wrapped up by that funky tang that is so familiar in the wild beers of Belgian inspiration. Would have liked to taste the oak a bit more, but still an excellent beer experience. Bought 2 so I could let one age a bit. Looking forward to it. Update Feb 2013. This just made me happy. Very complex. There is a lot going on, but in a good way. I think the whole thing smoothed out over time. Didn't note a lack of oak this time around. Not sure there was much, I just didn't miss it this time.

Can't quite find 13 flavors, but very satisfying to drink and share.
